  3. All bookings through the website or application must be made personally, and if the customer books on behalf of another person, it must be done with proper authorization.
  4. The customer is obligated to inform the person on whose behalf the booking is made of all applicable terms and conditions.
  5. The customer is responsible for the accuracy and correctness of all data and information entered through the website or application.
  6. The customer must maintain the confidentiality of their personal and login information and bears full responsibility for any use made through their account.
  7. almatar reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate a customer's use of the website or application in case of violation of terms and conditions or misuse.
  8. Using the website or application does not create any partnership, employment, or agency relationship between the customer and almatar or its affiliates.

  7. almatar, in cooperation with licensed banks in Saudi Arabia, undertakes reasonable measures to secure electronic payment transactions; however, it bears no responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from theft or misuse of payment methods, with responsibility in such cases remaining with the cardholder.
  8. The customer must not create fake or misleading accounts or provide any incorrect information when using the website or application.
  9. No content belonging to almatar or its affiliated sites may be used or exploited without prior written consent.
  10. The customer must not attempt to bypass or disable security systems or measures or violate the privacy and confidentiality of electronic accounts.
  11. Uploading or sending any content that may cause excessive or disproportionate load on the website or application systems is prohibited.
  12. Direct linking (Deep Linking) to the website for any purpose is not allowed without prior formal permission.

Correct Data Entry

  1. The customer must carefully read the terms and conditions and ensure the accuracy and correctness of all personal data entered, bearing sole responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete data, whether entered intentionally or unintentionally.
  2. The customer must enter accurate and updated contact information when requesting any service. If the customer cannot be contacted using the provided data, almatar has the right to cancel the booking without any liability.

Terms and Conditions for Service Providers

  1. The company acts as an electronic intermediary that allows customers to book tourism services provided by independent service providers.
  2. A contractual relationship arises between the company and the customer limited to mediation, booking, payment, and confirmation procedures.
  3. An independent contractual relationship also arises between the customer and the service provider regarding the provision and execution of the tourism service.
  4. All booked services are subject to the terms and conditions of the service providers, and completing the booking constitutes explicit acceptance by the customer.
  5. The company bears no responsibility for the failure of service providers to fulfill their obligations, provided the company has performed its role in mediation and booking as agreed.

Booking and Payment on Behalf of Others

  1. By using your bank card to make a booking for a third party through the almatar app, you authorize the company to charge the booking amount and bear full legal and financial responsibility for it.
  2. You also acknowledge that any difference between the cardholder's name and the traveler's name does not constitute a reason for objection or refund request.
  3. The service is considered complete once the booking is confirmed or the ticket is issued, in accordance with approved refund policies and applicable regulations in Saudi Arabia.

Modification and Refund Policies

  • Requests for Modification or Cancellation:

    The customer may request to modify or cancel the booking according to the policies of the relevant service provider, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the service, unless otherwise stated in the service provider's policy.

  • Bookings Subject to Service Provider Policies:

    All services available through the website or application are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the service providers (such as hotels, airlines, etc.), and the customer must review and accept them before completing the booking.

  • Modification or Cancellation Fees:

    If modification or cancellation is allowed, the customer bears any fees imposed by the service provider, which may vary depending on the service type, timing, or season, in addition to any applicable taxes or statutory fees.

  • No-show:

    If the customer does not show up on the service start date or during the first night of booking, the service provider may apply its no-show policy, which may result in cancellation or full/partial charges, and the company bears no responsibility for this.

  • Refunds:

    Refunds, if any, are processed according to the service provider's policies, after deducting any applicable modification or cancellation fees, and in compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations.

  • Company Role and Responsibility:

    The company's responsibility is limited to technical mediation in completing the booking and forwarding modification or cancellation requests to the service provider, and it bears no obligation to refund amounts unless actually received from the service provider.

  • Service Fees:

    The customer acknowledges that some service fees or commissions may be non-refundable in cases of cancellation or modification, as indicated during the booking process.

Booking Confirmation Process

  1. The company cooperates with a number of travel and tourism service providers inside and outside the Kingdom to offer a diverse range of services via the website or application.
  2. The booking is confirmed after successful payment, and based on the availability of the service with the relevant service provider.
  3. If the booking cannot be confirmed for any reason beyond the company's control, the company's responsibility is limited to refunding the customer or, where possible, providing an alternative service of similar type and price through another service provider.
  4. The company bears no responsibility for booking cancellation or non-execution resulting from the customer's actions or entering incorrect or incomplete data.
  5. Sending a booking confirmation message via email or the application serves as official proof of booking completion.

Disclaimer of Liability

  1. Some information displayed on the website or application relies on data from service providers and may include descriptions, prices, or estimated images. The company does not guarantee that this information is free from unintentional errors.
  2. The company reserves the right to correct any errors related to prices, descriptions, or availability at any time, in which case the customer will be notified and given the option to rebook at the correct price or cancel without additional fees.
  3. Service providers listed on the website or application act as independent providers and are not agents or employees of the company.
  4. The company is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages or losses resulting from service providers failing to fulfill their obligations, including but not limited to delays, cancellations, or service quality.

Travel Documents

  1. The customer is responsible for ensuring the validity of the passport and official documents required for travel outside the Kingdom, noting that some countries require a minimum passport validity.
  2. The customer is responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and permits for entry or transit through countries and must contact the relevant authorities (embassies or consulates) to verify requirements.
  3. The company is not responsible for the customer being denied entry, prevented from traveling, or incurring any losses due to failure to meet travel requirements.
  4. The company does not guarantee that tourist destinations are risk-free and is not responsible for any damages the customer may face during travel or stay.

Privacy Policy

  1. The company does not provide any warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy or suitability of programs or electronic services provided by service providers.
  2. The company does not guarantee that the website, application, or any electronic communications are free from viruses or harmful components.
  3. Personal data processing is subject to the company’s approved privacy policy and applicable law under these terms and conditions, which can be viewed independently on the website or application.

Compensation Policy

  4. almatar acts as an intermediary platform for booking and payment transactions and bears no responsibility for any refusal, delay, or suspension of payment due to procedures or requirements imposed by banks, card issuers, or payment service providers.
  5. The customer is responsible for any banking disputes or refund claims once the booking is executed, the ticket is issued, or the service is provided according to the data entered by them, without prejudice to their legal rights.

Laws and Regulations

  1. These terms and conditions are governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia, without affecting the company's right to comply with any requirements or procedures issued by relevant government authorities regarding the use of the website or application, including data collection or processing.
  2. If either party wishes to file a claim related to bookings made via the website or application, it is preferable to notify the other party within a reasonable time from the date of the cause of the claim, allowing both parties to review and resolve it properly, without waiving or limiting any legal rights under Saudi laws.
